Throw the Silk Shawl in the Fire
A Story
Appayya Dikshitar was doing the sacred fire ritual on behalf of a Chola King.
The King in appreciation for the Homam (fire ritual) done by the priest, gave the latter a Silk Shawl.
While offering Ghee, and other stuff to the sacred fire as part of the ritual, the Dikshitar offered the silk shawl too.
Hearing about this, the King got enraged and went to the temple to meet the Dikshitar. There he found the silk shawl was adorning the main idol of the temple.
When the Dikshitar was quizzed about this he said, “You sincerely offered the shawl to me. I too offered it to the god with sincerity. For the same reasons, the god has accepted our offerings in full. This is the significance of the incident”.
Offer Everything to the Silver Triangle
Let us offer everything to the Silver Triangle as it is nothing but the Homa Kundam, where we offer our memories in the form of fears, desires, expectations, frustrations etc.
By this act of surrendering we achieve what we want.
Surrendering – Why and How?
When you are obsessed with worry and fear you are breaking the quantum rules. Your fear will manifest the one which you don’t want, instead of getting what you want.
Desire something. Quieten your mind, relax and release it to the divine field.
Approaching anything with the calm and relaxed mind has got better chance of getting what we want.
That is where the surrendering attitude enters. By surrendering the desire to the divine field, you accept what the divine offers. Surrendering makes you think that whatever divine offer is good for me.
Know that you cannot change anything with your will. To make things happen your will and divine will should unite.
The link is the surrendering attitude.
Surrendering is Samarpanam. Samarpanam is keeping all our words, prayers and actions at the feet of Divine with the intention to accept whatever he offers.
Our ancestors are alive, influencing us
Go back, to the Past
If we have to go to the past, then what is the past? Who are we?
Do we really die? Nobody dies.
What about my father who died? He is still alive. Even people who died thousand years back, they are still alive.
Science says that.
Where they are alive?
There are two worlds existing simultaneously. One is the physical world and another is the energy world.
Physically a person may die, but energy wise they don’t die.
How they are alive? They are alive as a person with all incomplete emotions, thoughts, beliefs and aspirations. Everything is incomplete and influencing the progeny.
Our ancestors are still influencing us in the energy world. Physically we don’t feel that, but energy wise, they are constantly influencing us.
What does that mean?
How this energy is transformed into physical body and mind? You may ask.
Every time, something happens between the physical world and the energy field, we keep them as memories inside our brain.
The brain knows how to keep it, has tools to remember it and to act from the past – the memory, influenced by the people who are dead.
It means we are not “we” as such. We are our parents. We are our ancestors.
If we are reacting in a particular way, then your mother (or father) also would have reacted in the same way.
So what we are going to do is, analyze the present problem, go back in your own life and go back to your mother’s life (or father’s life or both), and make them whole and complete, for they remain incomplete.
Unless, they are complete (past), we can’t be complete (future) either.
Inviting Angel of Death
An exercise for those who are above 50
What we have to do this exercise daily
We need to heal the death as there is a need to heal the birth.
Daily in the morning, whoever has crossed the age of 50, needs to do this exercise.
If you are not 50, until then enjoy your life and needn’t do it.
We need to do this exercise daily to have a longer life followed by a peaceful death.
The Power of Kalan – Time
It is the time that decides every event in our life. It is called as Kalan.
He will not wait for anybody. That’s why he is called as Dharmaraja (King of Truth).
Every day pray to Kalan, “I am ready to die even now. Please call me”.
Don’t worry you won’t die faster because you do this prayer.
Purpose of this exercise
You are preparing your mind so that you are detaching yourself from the body.
One part of the mind is always associated with the body thinking that the body is the person.
Therefore, at the time of death what happens is that we don’t want to leave the body, as the mind will be clinging to the body.
Even in death also we have conflict of interests.
One part wants to die and another part wants to cling to the body.
That’s why we have to invite the Kalan (voluntarily) and say “Even now I am ready to die and shed my life. If you want to take it, please do so”.
This way you are giving a command to the mind, to detach itself from the body at the right time.
